Harvested in Central America, this sweet-smelling resin is said that the divine God of Earth extracted copal for the tree of life and gave it to humans as a gift.    

 

Usage: 

• Stimulates creativity and imagination
• Aids in mental and spiritual endeavors
• Makes for an excellent smudge

 

How to Burn Resin:

 

1. Fill an incense bowl, plate, or resin burner with at least two inches of sand. 

 

2. Then place your burner on a heat resistant surface, such as a ceramic coaster or tile. 

 

3. Using tongs to hold the charcoal, light it following the instructions provided with your charcoal.  Place the hot charcoal onto the bed of sand inside your charcoal burner.

 

4. Wait several minutes for the charcoal to become hot and gray, then sprinkle a pinch or two, of resin directly on top of the hot charcoal.  The incense will begin to smolder and release its beautiful aroma.
